    crap bolted and welded together....
Maybe you have heard of Pacific pride? Its like a cardlock gas station. You get a card and a pin to go and pump your own gas and the stations/cardlocks. And you pay once a month when theyvsend ya a bill. Its handy as hell.

I had been waiting once for about 3 minutes after my gas had finished pumping, and the attendant was nowhere in site. I got out of my Runner and take the nozzle out to hang it up, all of a sudden the guy comes running out of nowhere and he's like "CAN I HELP YOU?". So I told him "yeah I'm just helping you out, you were obviously busy" and he says "thanks but I could've done it myself, you can't touch the pumps in this state". What a douche.

That's bizarre. I've only had guys give me crap for starting the process, but never hanging the nozzle up. Guess it just reminded him how redundant he was lol.

I hang the pump up pretty frequently, this must've just been a rare occurrence. It was some old guy (probably like 65) that obviously took his gas pumping job too seriously. :p

I did that once and had a teenager come yell at me. I told them it was okay, i knew what I was doing. They didn't like that

I finally got a chance to check the SWR of the CB tonight on my way home. It's exactly at 3 on channel 1, and over 3 on channel 40. It did drop a little by grounding the antenna mount. I'm gonna pick up a 3' tomorrow morning and hopefully that will bring the SWR in the 1-2 range where I want it

Thanks  I'm thinking I might contact SockMonkey to see if he can make up some transparent decals of it. Maybe 8-10" ones??? Would anyone else be interested if I try to get a batch made up? Probably won't ever get that tattooed, (I have no tattoos now, and I've never been a fan of logos/emblem tats). Did you see the hidden message in the teeth?

    I did. Very nicely done

BTW Joe I wont need you to bring your extra antenna for me this weekend.

I went out and found a 3' Wilson. Damn did that drop the SWR meter. It's sitting just above 2 on channel 40 and right below 1.5 on channel 1. Now Ill just have to see if I can transmit and hear others during the meet

Sad day for Benny...I just called Motorsport-Tech to check on the status of my 1" spacers. They won't be ready till next week :(. He said they'll get back from the anodizers on Thursday, and then ship to me next Tuesday.

So, that means I will have to rock my stock tires this weekend, and probably won't go to TSF on Sunday.

This sucks, I feel like someone who has a badass set of M/Ts sitting in his truck and no way to mount them!!!

Mike, we will have to test out these tires in a couple weekends.....
