Best Scope Option for Marlin Bolt Action .22 Mag?

I currently have the Simmons .22 Mag scope with the adjustable parallax on it now and I don't have a range finder, so the adjustments are usually off haha and it hasn't ever held its zero well. I use the .22 mag strictly for ground hog and varmint hunting, always less than 150 yards. I'm fine with either an adjustable zoom one again or just a straight 4 power like the Nikon rimfire, but i'm not looking to spend more than $150-200 bucks. I have a Nikon prostaff on my .308 and love that and it has held its zero for years. Help me out guys cuz I love this gun (was my first) and there's plenty of ground hogs out there that are missing out, literally

ya i heard about the meuller being great, but i think that has an adjustable parallax too and i don't have a range finder and i feel when u set it wrong, then you end up high or low. Looking to get something thats just a set parallax, prob 50 yards and then i can easily gauge if i gotta aim higher or not
