    I really just want to graduate with that degree but a land a job where I'm just doing random handy-work on stuff. i.e. going around to rooms and telling people they have to push the INPUT button on their TV to watch a DVD

    This.... You'll want an ITNA or other 2 year technical degree... If you are set on a 4 year, MIS is your direction of choice.

    You should be set to roll then... I'm 97% done with my 2 year pre-business degree, and getting Cisco certified as well... should set me up quite well to continue onto an MIS degree if I decide that's what I want to do.
