"Crickets" sound from tranny

My truck makes a cricketish noise whenever my truck is on, below 2.5k rpms. It does not matter which gear it's in or if it's in neutral. Pressing on the clutch a tiny bit will make the sound go away.

I've taken it to the dealer, and just by "hearing the sound" he stated it was my release bearing. I bought my 03 four years ago and it came with a 3rd party 5 year warranty, but the warranty states it doesn't cover clutch components as its a wear and tear item.

Taking off that boot on my tranny that covers the fork area, if I spray white lithium grease will make the sound go away for 2 days.

Any clue what else this could be? Or any other remedies that will help fix this?

 

Yep throw out bearing or release bearing, same thing, thats what they sound like when they are getting bad

 

Even in Neutral?

 

When I apply figure pressure to the clutch fork or even to the boot, the sound also goes away? Could it be the clutch fork is misaligned?

Also, I've read that adjusting the clutch rod to reduce the amount of play in the pedal could help. But wouldn't i be grinding the clutch?

 

Its the throwout bearing I changed mine three time on my first gen 2003 v6 5spd trd access cab. One time was when I did the clutch at that time the flywheel was also chewed up, I think it was all related but not sure. after the third time it still made the noise but I just let it go because I got sick of taking my truck in. Mine started making same noise. 38,000 miles and it's out of warranty. I wonder if Power train waranty covers the bearing replacement.
The noise is getting loud. What a piece if shit I bought.
