Unless something has changed, I would give a dollar for a truck load of Robinson pinions, terrible machining/tool marks, and the loudest mesh I've ever seen. As big of a AE fanboy I am, Losi pinions are the best, smoothing running I've ever found. Now, that being said, I haven't bought one of there new ones in years, (local hobby shop closed awhile back, I was a pretty good buddy with the guy that owned it, and bought a but load of them when he went out of business). Never put a aluminum pinion on, takes longer to set mess than they last. I also never change to a new pinion without a new spur.

I agree to a certain extent. I prefer my hot racing pinions over rrp but they can be had pretty cheap for a set of multiple sizes to see what you like best. Never tried losi but my hot racing pinions are awesome.

I'm not up on the Hot pinions, do they make all pitches? Way back RRP was the shit, they actually offered machined, not molded spur gears, Silencer Series IIRC, virgin nylon, they were awesome. Then it all went to crap, again I've not bought anything from them in ages.

The Hot Racing Pinions are machined and I have then in both 32p and 48p I'll have to check out their other pitches. They also make steel spur gears for a lot of different models. I really love all their products.

SPC. You can get them with any connector you like, unlike the Gens Ace packs.

When I was working on my brothers truck (losi) I noticed the pinion and spur both seemed to be really good quality. Wouldn't imagine there much better than what I've already got, though. :notsure:

Been looking around... Might be pulling the trigger on a TC4 Club kit soon. There's bound to be some parking lot race action somewhere by where I'm moving.

Will be my first venture into on-road. Minus a Robitronics Scalpel I got rid of right after buying.

Dam. Now I got to pull the SCX 10 tranny apart and figure out what is loose. :(

Starting to be a head ache. One think starts to work and another starts to freak out.

Last time I buy a builders kit. The value of time wasted, I could have had the Honcho with motor and esc I wanted. I could have been have been driving it long ago

    Grrrrrr. Vent over
