He is senior to you and has less posts, so when he does speak up and say something it warrants more reflection on my part then posts from you. Sorry.

Yea, your girls give gum jobs and are related to you

Thanks to Lisa - this thread is a great read on what "used" to happen in GB's when people flaked http://www.tacomaworld.com/forum/gr...rs-5-leafspring-group-buy-13.html#post3003103

Jamie made it a sticky and I know he has a recollection of it.

Glad to see a good amount of TW vendors voting regardless of their opinion. It's great to get your guys direct feedback. After all this is for you guys and the TW members.

guess you feel sufficiently felt up by now :D

That's why I never did feelers. By the time it comes to fruition many people have changed their minds or gotten the item already.

These are the steps I followed and they seemed to work besides the flakes being flakey for the GB"s I ran

    First you research a product.
    Then line up a vendor.
    Then gauge interest.
As soon as interest is there you pull the trigger.

Luckily my local interest was great so I had no need to ask others on the web.

I doubt that any of the venders get too bent out of shape when someone pulls out for whatever reason. That’s part of running a business. Plus there are plenty of ways for a seller to prevent pull out. Some have already been mentioned.

Seems to me the real issue here is the other forum members getting butthurt because of the delay (or termination of the GB) that’s caused when someone pulls out. Giving the butthurt a green light to bash other members probably isnt a good idea.

To answer your question. We've discussed it and come to the consensus that it's not in TW's best interest therefore we are saying no to the Group Buy Blacklist.

I'm sure there will be further discussion from the OP so it'll remain open for the time being.

First, this is a private site. Bob could make it so everyone would have to say "All Hail Bob" before each thread they post, if he wanted to. Read the code of conduct, and tell me what part of it the "Black List" would fall under? The last 2 times this was tried, it went to shit, and left nothing more than shit throwing, and butt hurt. Things were going just fine before this list idea, and things will go just fine after.

One man in power with a few others enforcing the rules.... seems similar. Changing the system could be more benficial. If Bob rules why did the mods deliberate and come with the conclusion? Bob says yes or no and it happens, but since that didnt seem to happen seems quite judicial in the decision.

I like less laws than most but the direction seems to push more laws to make up for common sense and respect.

    Im done now
