I kind of bought my taco on impulse and didnt know much about them at the time. I was looking at some fords at the dealership when they pulled the taco out on the lot and i really liked it. When i checked it out it only had 11800 miles on the odo. I did a little research and went back and got it the next day.

 

The first gens are better built in my year...

So how do the bfg 255/85R16's do in the snow and rain? I was wondering if when i get some i should also get another set of cheap rims and put some winter tires on them if they suck? I'm too lazy to google it on my phone

 

You can rack your brain and make a small list of mods for the occassion offroader for me haha or we can talk about Ben's locker

That's right. I remember you guys mentioning the Hancook MT's. I like the idea of the skinny 33's though and bfg seems to be the only common one to make 255/85R16's.

On a completely random side note think those 886 coils will beat the hell out of me until i get the bumper and winch put on? (Throwing out random questions to help with the boredom)

Yeah i have the trd offroad with the factory locker. I knew the 2nd gens did. Dont know much about the first gen...

Bash away. Haha but i like my cruise control and the looks of my 2nd gen. It is hardly a midsize pickup though... it was just over 5000lbs on the scale and that is with only a bull bar, a mostly empty tool box, and stock tires!!

 

Just about to pass the Or/Wa bs in post count...

 

Now when you say little guy? I am 5'9 and about 165.

Yeah i am a little nervous about banging mine up but i didnt buy a pickup to stare at it or drive it on the pavement, i have a 99 hyundai accent that gets 40+ mpg for my dd.
