I bought 265/75/16's about 3 months ago. Found them on tirebuyer.com.

Has anyone had any alignment issues after putting on the Duratracs? I put mine on a couple days ago, and since then it seems like the truck is handling differently. Steering is hypersensitive.

When I first noticed it, I checked my tires and found them to be at 50. I have them now at 34 all around.

Could the E rating have something to do with it?

front is heavier then the rear

I run my rear at 3 psi less in the rear then the front due to extensive chalk testing.

40 psi in front and 37 in the rear with 265/70/17 C rated.

Just put mine on about a week ago, 265/75-16 E, and love them so far. I have yet to try them in snow, but from what I hear they're awesome.

In the snow they are amazing. I didn't need to put it into 4hi when it snowed here :D .

Close to 25,000 miles so far and still loving them. (285 70 17s load range E) I rotate them every 3000miles or so. I have had to re-balance them at around 20,000miles but running smooth as glass again.

    I will buy these again!

Four Wheeler just did a 33 tire comparo. Duratracs and Silent Armors were the only 2 tires with a total of 20 stars. Both had 4 each for ice and snow!

I have always had BFG AT's as I have never had a problem with them. So if it's not broke dont fix it right?

However there are a whole bunch of guys in a local Toyota club who have them and love them. Also not quite sure what 4x4 magazine but it is the latest and they gave them a really awesome review. All around very good in everything. Mud, rock snow and ice.

I think they may be my next tire.

I really don't like using 4wheel unless I'm stuck.... I think sometimes I just like knowing I have the options there when I need them.... Otherwise I run 2wheel almost all the time... I like my driving habits to be like my women... Squirrely rearend!

I've been debating on the 235/85-16 or goig the standard 265/75-16...
Did you notice any differences in performance?
I am pretty sure the side wall is different In that 235 is a 10 ply and 265 is like a 3 so the skinnies should be stiffer but also a slight bit heavier negating any mpg gains that might be achieved from the skinnier tire.

    Your thoughts?

My belief is that tire weight has negligible effect on mpg. A more significant factor, IMO, is that stiffer sidewalls provide more efficient transfer of power from the powertrain to the pavement (e.g., less deformation during acceleration), possibly improving mpg. Then, of course, the smaller the patch size, the less rolling resistance, and the better the mpg. Another factor of wider versus narrower tires is that wider tires have more frontal area subject to airflow, increasing form drag slightly.

Right on Koa....looking forward to pics!

After researching for months, reading endless reviews, price checking every damn website I could find.....I got mine going on this weekend. I'll be running 275/65-18 on some FN BFD's. Funny thing is I ended up getting the set from the local Goodyear dealer who was the last guys I thought I'd buy from, but they matched internet pricing and had one last set in stock. Pics incoming!
