Alright . Thanks for the advice. I should get the duratracs, they look amazing. I wanted 275s cause there are little bigger then 265s I have now but the only semi offroad tire in that size is bfgs. I wonder how the 265s duratracs look on a 3inch lift. I dont want it to look to small then the tires I have now but I heard the dura look big in person cause of the big thread pattern. hmmmm?

I knew you would say that lol. Seems like there the tire I should get. Since the thread pattern is big like the mts do you think my mpgs would drop. I drive alot so I want something that is great on highway too/

If your worried about mpgs .Just get stock size tires .or a tall skinny tire .
I love my duratracs . I've had no issues with them

x2. My next tires are going to be 255's I think. You can get a taller series tire so they'll still fill the wheel wells but won't be as fat and less likely to bring down your MPG's. Also, the load rating of the tire can have a big effect. If you're looking at D or E rated tires, those suckers are heavy!

OK thanks. So guys need to ask this. 225/80/16. so 255 is the with(left to right) and 80 would be how tall the tire is? so going from 265 to 255, the tire would be small with wise but would be a taller tire at 80? I think i have it right. Sorry If i sound dumb.

Here's a good link, all tire info explained

Also, Tire Size Calculator - You can mess with different numbers and see what it does to overall width/height.

I have 255/70 Mud Terrains and only lost a few mpg. If you are worried about mileage stay skinny and tall.

I have heard the the duratracs were built a bit oversized from everybody else. So if you wanted them just buy them in the same size you have. Otherwise why not get the generals in the 285/75/16?

Good for trails and deep snow. They have some problems with packed snow and ice but are better than the stock tires our trucks came with.

Yes i habe heard that they do run alittle big. Tire rack has them for 179. Not bad. I don't want 285s. They bring your mpg down and the way I drive my mpg would suck. I do a lot of my driving on the highway. Gf lives far away and summer place is alittle far so I'm always driving. I feel like i live in the road lol. Wanted Just alittle bigger tire yet still good on road. I'm looking at taller and skinny like the other guys said. The hankook ATMs look good but so far the only tire in 255 was the BFg MUDs.

Anything would be better than the tires the factory puts on!

Mine came with the Dunlops and they were useless.

Thank. That's not too too bad at all. . I highly doubt I'm getting 19 on my grabbers lol. I'm thinking more 17 or 16. Might just get the duratracs on 265. Town fair can price match duratracs for 170 a tire they said. Just not!!!!! Getting my alignment there lol
