    Why rather have the C?

I'm thinking of just rattle canning it every so often. No sense investing too much in paint when it will likely scratch off again. Guess that will be a good weekend project when weather gets better. Kinda want to pull them off and re weld and add more guesses now that I'm a little more experienced with welding since they were my first project of welding ever

Keep me posted man, honestly I'm cool leaving a little later if it means you'll get to camp and hang out all weekend. I had originally planned on leaving around 5:30-6:00 anyway. I think Jason is bringing an "extra" tent too, you might be able to use that???

I had originally planned on getting some ProComp 7047 (17x9, 4.75" BS):

But have since decided on these guys....V-Tec Off Road Matte Black (17x8.5 with 5.5" BS, offset to 4.5" BS with the 1" spacer I will be installing)

Reasons being: I can get them cheap ($93/ea.) and I like the deep spokes, and low-profile center-cap & valve stem. They will be an almost perfect hub-centric fit as well @ 106.2mm center bore, as opposed to the standard 108mm lug-centric offerings from most wheels. Plus, they look pretty badass.

    Opinions???

Me too, they look like the 7089s
    [IMG]vs.[IMG]

I think spec wise they will be a better choice, esp. for off-road; the deep spokes coupled the low-profile valve stem and center cap will have less chance of getting damaged.

Don't ever buy a used motorcycle helmet... You won't ever know if it's been dropped or in an accident or whatnot... A friend of a friend did that (bought used) and a few months later was in an accident and the helmet split in half. Turns out the helmet was in a crash a couple owners previous, repainted by that owner and fixed up to look new. Resold a few times, and the officer that showed up told the guy's friends that he could tell it was used and in a previous accident - where the helmet split there was rust and mold in the inner shell of the helmet.

Back when I took my motorcycle license class, I dropped $40 on a clearance helmet, BNIB, from Beaverton Honda out off 217.

I just saw these in the Funny GIFs thread...

This one kinda pisses me off, I've been in some 2-on-1 fights, and I would have definitely jumped in to even the odds, fuck these guys.

Turbogt - thanks for the info. Looks like new it might be.

Ben - why do you need spacers and the rims? It's an either or situation. With spacers and rims thats going to stick out hella far and screw you up
