i see why you want it!!! lol. Buy the metal and I can weld it... who just got the welder on here? It would be great practice and teaching how to do corners and stuff like that.

ive already talked to a coworker/buddy and we are considering fabbing a bed rack up like that. just not sure how it would fit on my bed with the toolbox. but he has a first gen and we could easily fab it for his then take it off and sell it. he has all the metalworking tools, he and i have the skills to do it, and he has no desire to have one on his truck but wouldnt mind making a couple he says and turn a few dollars. just something to think about.

I've looked into doing similar things. I'd need a pipe bender though. With this site, you can make a fortune fabbing shit for tacos.

yep we arent going to get too crazy we talked about doing a set of sliders and maybe try our hand at a bed rack/basket setup. who knows its not like we know where we would get the extra time to do this cuz we are on mandatory 12's right now plus saturday work(rumored that next month or so we will be on 6 12's and an 8) but we have been kickin around the idea for the past couple weeks.

If i had a place to do it, i'd be doing it. I don't think the landlord would be happy with me welding in this apartment though. I have ideas for sliders, roof rack, bedrack, front and rear tube bumpers, shackle flip kit, and even some body armor that would connect the sliders to the roof rack to protect fenders and bedsides.

Would love to do it, but would likely have to be aluminum do to weight. And i have no experience working with aluminum.

After seeing that I have to say my favorite part is at the end when the passenger's door opened and about a hundred gallons of creek water came pouring out! His problem was that with an SUV, there is a huge pocket of air in the cab, and no weight to hold the back end in the water. Damn good driving skills though!

My sigs get so much attention. I love it! And yea, that girl is a def hottie in my books. I may keep this sig for a while. Anyone else notice the large vodka bottle being passed around? I wish I could have 2 sigs paired up, but every time I try it won't work.

I am not sure how big of a project you are talking about welding, but I have access to a decent MIG welder at my shop.

We need to setup a meet at that offroad park in Auburn. That way all of us would be able to make the drive!

    I'd probably use 2" pipe.

My lift is going on sat! Just one question? I have some 17" sport rims. I'm planning on 255/80/17. Should I paint the wheels or leave them stock?

My sports are painted gun metal grey and I think they look pretty good with a white truck.
