where is brake control plug located in 2012

    Have driver kick panel off but can't find brake control plug in 2012
    Tacoma. Have looked & looked - is it taped up - any suggestions

    On mine, it was a cream color. It could be tucked up behind the control box, or up behind another cable.

    I have an '09 Tacoma w/ factory tow package. I too am having a heck of a time locating the connector. Searched twice now and felt all around under dash and still having trouble locinging the connection point. Do you have pictures by chance.? That wouldtruly help.

    Driver side kick panel. Cant get a camera in to take a pic, as its tight.

    Mine was jammed up behind the bundle of wires going into the fire wall. I could actually only see about 4 mm of it, and I had to dig in and work it out. It was a royal PITA, and was hidden good.

    Extremely tight... I searched there 1st and then searched here and the enternet for hints to the Exact location as I understand it is difficult to locate and then searched again the 2nd time and still having trouble locating.
