yeah i dont understand, people with 2nd gens dont really have to cut too much for 33s, dude i had a 20 lb sledge with a 3 foot handle going to town, full blown swings for like 20 minutes and i still dont think its enough to where i dont rub everywhere.
i was wondering if it was just my truck if i bent stuff haha

What's not to understand...the shear size of a 2nd Gen is more the size of a 1st Gen Tundra

Thats because you were running wheel spacers. I beat mine a little bit before LT but I dont rub at all with LT and 33's

i took off my wheel spacers cause with the 33s i was rubbing almost full droop at full lock.

with my spacers off in the dunes i hit my fender wells with my tires about once every 30 seconds or so, the first couple times it sounds really scary and you get out but then everything is fine. my truck transfers alot of noise through it cause its gutted.

From the man who build one of the greatest TT's ever (yes I know it's not a TT but the info is still relevant):

does that mean like less movement of the rubber around the wheel with a 35?

It means the tire doesn't bend in the side wall as much, side to side since it's smaller distance from the outter edge of the wheel to the tread:cool:

The yellow looked bad ass in person IMO. The truck was clean.

Ofcourse I see this on my way home from engage talking about what I want to do with the truck haha.

Keep the solid axle in the rear, IRS is more than work than it's worth (an no offense to Engage, but I think it'd be a little more engineering involved then what they're used too)

Hadn't planned on that route anyways. Just looked sick and made the wheels turn faster in my head lol. I decided to not go crazy with this Tacoma. Might do a simple SUA.

So I'm really considering building a tube chassis truck. Just picked up a score rules book and going to try to decide what class I want to build for

Go Sportsman/1450 (mpj2, Total Mayhem, and few others are all in these classes) but with an older Pickup or 1st Gen Taco and build that:cool:
