did the headlights change in the 2012 models? That's the only reason I can think of the glass not working with 2012

 

yes they did but i dont know if the outside part that the fender connects to is different but the head light is different

Well he doesn't want to run glass, like me and some others they also don't have 2012 Front glass out that I know of anyways

 

Dude 400 plus shipping plus $1200 for paint is a lot of extra dough. read my first post im going full All pro with fox shocks and All Pro rear suspension with fox shocks

yeah i read what your going with, and my question is whats your budget. theres alot of other things besides all pro lt shocks rear leafs and rear shocks. have you accounted the gusseting?
spindle gussets
frame plates
boxed frame
gusset motor mounts
all the little tiny things like that is what adds up.

and sorry if i sound like a dick im not trying to be, just pretty busy so i dont have time to type a bunch, so i just try to get to the point.

 

I know you were not trying to be a dick neither was I. Paint is spendy at a body shop is $1200 to much?

The All pro comes with spindle gussets and you weld them on and I can do this my self not cost there.

Are these needed? dont mean to sound dumb, but why are they needed and whats the cost. Do most people also do this? I am not running a trophy truck here just want the ability to do some decent off roading now and then more than what a midtravel would be suitable for.

 

You don't NEED to do any gussets it's just precautionary. If you are not beating your truck all the time, just get the kit and all will be just fine, but if your planning on hucking it off some dunes you better expect things will break and bend.

 

I do not plan no jumping it off dunes anytime soon if I do that i will be doing more extensive upgrades

 

well my best friends dad paints so i actually just get good deals, i had my whole truck custom airbrushed by him for only a little more than what you would pay for your front fenders. and my truck was dented to shit, they had over 80 hours of body work in it and 30 for the paint.

are they needed? for my use, yes. for your use, they would probably be over board but its a really good feeling to have that extra comfort zone there.
the frame plates, these go out side the frame in the rear so your frame doesnt bend, heres mine.... you can also see the frame is boxed. just weld a piece to the open part of the c channel on your frame.


my motor mounts arent gusseted yet... but they need to be asap. you should also think about doing the coil bucket gussets. i dont have those either...

its always good to have that though cause when off roading stuff pops up out of no where sometimes.. like ditches. i have hit one and so has blackhawke, he broke both spindles, i didnt break anything but it sucked so bad, and i was going really slow, shit comes out of no where sometimes, always best to be prepaired

 

you might want to look at all.on.blacks build he's local and modded his fender flares to fit 35's.. as for gussets i would at least order up the lca cam gussets from total choas and do the coil gussets as well when you have it tore down..sooooo much easier the first time.. kartek (951)737-2999 ask for trucks ..usually can get em here in a couple days ..just got back in town so hit me up when you need anything,ill be in the shop all weekend!
