    We had some monsoon type rains last August and there was damage to the pond. I am fixing the damage this week.

    I had to remove the stone from the liner and pull the liner back. I removed 2 wheelbarrow loads of soil that was washed under the liner during the storm. Tomorrow is secure the liner, restack the stone and rebuild the waterfall. I also need to do spring maintenance on the filter. I decided to replace the hose from the pump to the filter but that is not a big deal.

    Always something to do around the home.

    Sounds like you've got a bit of work ahead of you!
    I wish I had a yard. :( Renting sucks. But at least I have an extra excuse to help mom when it comes time to redo the flowerbeds and such.

    Some flags and center console divider... lots of things on the wanted list.
    I sometimes miss renting. Didn't have to deal with any of the upkeep of the house. I am afraid to see what damage was done to my lawn while I was gone for 2 weeks. Down poured for 4 days after I fertilized... and probably hasn't been watered or mowed since :(

    my head hurts. Noah's old bike has been hanging from the ceiling in the garage for 4+ years with my motorcycle below. I go to put the motorcycle away and bump (not hard) my head on the bike. it comes crashing down on my head. I'm not sure whether to be happy or pissed off. Happy because it didn't come crashing down on the bike, pissed because my head took the brunt of the blow.

    I've seen pics. Tom put a lot of work into the pond already and it shows.

    But renting you have to share walls with neighbors. Loud, obnoxious, alcoholic neighbors :mad:

    Whats easier/cheaper to fix: your head or the motorcycle?
