    Also remember that while velcro craps out after time, having to lace and unlace your shoes on long sessions gets to be a pain in the ass.

    I'm considering velco for my next shoes.

    Also leather versus synthetic leather. Real leather will stretch over time. Synthetic will not. So when you try your shoes on find out how they fit and whether they'll stretch at all.
