    here we go. Ford 9" rear after breaking 5 sets of gears in the stock yota 8.8, 5.13 gears with a detroit hard locker, 63" chevy leafs and custom hangers, sky's front spring hanger with sky's extream hysteer and PSC hydro assist ram and PSC pump. welded front spyders in the f-550 front dana 60 with warn hubs, pico brake lines and hoses, elecrtic fan, TRD supercharger with URD 2.1 Pully, URD Map-ECU2 and cage built by me. wide band a/f by inovations, lots and lots more...........
    ill take some pics... i think there are a few threds on this but the only extra's i needed was a 1/4" thick washer and hook up the yellow wire from the old harness to the smaller wire on the 140amp alternator... i also have a supercharger and SAS swap so had to space the steering box away from its big case a little but if your IFS its a direct fit.. any other questions just PM me i bought the alternator from upull and pay for $20 i actually bought two and the first one worked like a charm!

    Good info Scott. Our gut tells us the 3.4 is an outstanding motor and the evidence from many users on this forum backs up that feeling. But here is hard evidence that one with 120K is essentially as good as it was when new. Thanks for posting this!

    thanks man! it's a Yakima basket on a custom fabbed up bed rack. went down to a local welding supply distributor and told them exactly how i wanted it and BOOM! it was done a day after i ordered it :D

    iv always envied a truck with a RTT.

    just makes a bed rack that much more functional.

    i would need to fab a new one to support it for sure cause 1" thick tubing would probably start to bend and give.
