Sorry if I misunderstood, do you have a Sette bike yourself? If so, how was the shipping and customs fees to Ontario. I bought some small items from Pricepoint but nothing major as a complete bike.

Here is a whole forum section dedicated to Sette.
    http://forums.mtbr.com/sette/

I would be interested in the Derro 1.0 or 2.0 myself.

    ^ Gotta see that now
I was a messenger in Chicago for a while after college, many of the aspects portrayed hit home. We were told if we went down, first someone would be by to pick up our deliveries, then later someone would see if WE were alright. There was quite the messenger sub-culture too with riders who rode huffys to those who rode elite fixed gear rigs, we all drank together down by the river after work (carbo loading). I rode a tricked out Cannondale mtb with skinny slicks. Alot of fun while it lasted.

Sorry, no, I don't have a Sette (my rides are up above). I've bought Sette products before, but never a whole bike. Biggest thing I ever bought was a set of forks, and through Pricepoint. When they went to UPS, I sent an e-mail saying I was done with them. I got raped by their arbitrary brokerage fees once and vowed never again. They e-mailed back and said if I ever want anything shipped USPS, just let them know. I've bought a tonne of stuff the last few months (goalie equipment, ebay stuff), and always request USPS, and more often than not, I don't pay the taxes (there are no customs fees) A couple of years ago I ordered a steel roof rack for our old Mazda5, and they didn't charge the taxes.

Cleaned it up. Added a Reverb seat post.

Took a couple of shots of the bike too.

Here's the control for the post.

    And the cable routing.

One thing that cracked me up about the install was the emphasis on keeping the post surfaces free of grease. Then when you go to install the seat, the saddle clamp was covered in grease--I needed to wipe it off there was so much.

    ^ nice set up
I always change my seat height a few times during my rides, I gotta have it down low for the descents to keep center down ;;;low
Please tell us how you like it after a few rides, and if it keeps its height. The reviews I've read say some loose position after a lot of use.

Will do. So far, all I've done is chase the dog around the yard (it's raining).

Some of things I was concerned about are addressed in the 2012 version of the Reverb. One of the biggies was the side to side motion of the seat-that's very manageable now as is the nearly non-existent pogo-sticking. I hope to get a couple rides in next week once it dries up--I'll get back to you :D

I gots a little lime green & gold setup........just not mt bike. Cafe racer turned single speed disc urban assault vehicle. Maybe I should go with the extra set of gold riser bars I have on it instead of the black ones tho. Some lime green ourys would look sick on yours BTW. With hair spray, they stay stuck just like those lock-ons. They also are much more comfortable to me, no tingly hands.

    They're nice grips.

I've always had good luck with hairspray or window cleaner (no soap, just alcohol-like Windex). If you go big with the hairspray, might need to blow them off with compressed air tho.
