nah travis you gotta go flat black or like a matte black. let it tie in with the rest of the black accents on your truck.

Yea. I think it would look good. It seems to go well with the rest of the black on the truck.

You have many black parts already, gunmetal would look funny. 3 colors just makes a truck look to busy. You already have black on white, stick with it.

okay, ill look into that and how many feet should i start with?
don't forget window tint! it helps a lot in the summer. i got 5% on my fronts and i like how cool it stays and people can't look into my truck! nosey people.

thats what i did with mine. sanded, primer, flat black rattle can (96 cents), then to finish it off a few coats of clear coat.

Might want to do some research on the type of pipe you're thinking about using. Pipe = designed to hold pressure internally, tube = designed to be structural.

Not saying it won't work, just keep in mind that you may be using it for something other than its intended purpose and plan accordingly.

That said, I think most of the bed rack stuff I've seen is MASSIVELY overbuilt. There's no need to have like 5 hoops of 1.75" 1/8" wall DOM to support a RTT and some lights. I mean cool I guess, but good grief, the rack ends up weighing 1/4 of the capacity rating of the bed. I'd think you could get by with some 1.25" .120 wall stuff for a decent price and not have it end up weighing too terribly much.

hey guys! so my dad forgot to latch his trailer down and bumped his tailgate pretty good. who locally would be good for some bodywork or would it be cheaper just to buy a whole new tailgate? no pictures of the dent cause its nighttime but its about 2 inches by 2 inches and took the paint completely off. he said if it wasnt for him wanting to sell it he wouldnt even bother with it but wants it to be perfect for selling

Have him go to a body shop and get a quote on both. I think it will be cheaper to get it fixed and not get a new one. You would have to buy a new/used one and pay to get it painted. If it's used they would have to pull out dents and stuff like that, if there is any. I got a quote on getting alex's fixed from when he backed into a metal mailbox and punched a hole in it. I went to a body shop and it actually was cheaper for them to fill it and fix all the scratches and dents on it instead of buying a used one and having them paint it.

Hopefully they got it running right before messing with the Windows, or at least I would think.

wish i could. but its 25k worth of software soooooo, i don't think they will allow me to take it off campus. but i will be more than happy to bring my comp to the meets and we can mess around and stuff on it...if you'd like. or maybe when i get my new lift i can come down and we can install the lift and mess around on the program.

I have no idea if they have even messed with the running issue yet. Im guessing not seeing as how they have been messing with the wiring issue this whole time. They are thinking it's an overload and it's throwing the CEL... IDK though. Im a little irritated to be honest. I WANT MY TRUCK SO I CAN DRIVE IT.... You know I havent even drove it since I bought it..... :goingcrazy::annoyed:
