My first two Tacos were both black. It looks awesome when detailed, but I'm sick of doing it. The 2012 I just ordered will be white. MGM was a really close second.

Someone once told me that white is for cream puffs and panzies and black is for the tough and strong. You can never go wrong with black. I agree, black is a bitch to keep clean but a real men don't care how dirty their truck is. Sissy boys and girls care about how dirty their cars are.

Hmm, looks lighter than the rest of the truck in the pics. I asked because the slight contrast actually looked good to me but i must have been mistaken, thanks.

Silver! Apparently in the reg cabs... its pretty hard to come by in the Tennessee area. Good things come to those who wait!

I like the less common colors myself. Everyone is driving black, silver, or red. My first Tacoma was Barcelona red. This time, I had a choice of silver streak or pyrite in the trim I wanted. I chose the latter as I have seen enough silver that it is too familiar a color. Pyrite is definitely unique and you don't see many.

It's hard to be unique when we're driving Tacoma's hahahaha;)

I get what you're saying though, Pyrite was going to be my second choice after Timberland.

I was looking to see what the most popular car colors are. Dupont puts out an anual popularity report by color. It is interesting white is the most popular. I really don't see many vehicles in my area that are white and I live in a major metro area. It's mostly Silver and Black.

I think with a color like green or pyrite mica, you don't stand out and you kind of blend in with the scenery. Which is good-- if you are coming through a bend and there is a cop with a radar gun clocking you both doing 5MPH over, he's going to pick off the guy in the red or silver truck who stands out and attratcs his attention:)

Green and Brown/Gold shades are definitiley unique colors, though.
