What kind of windshield washer fluid do you use?

Can you mix orange rain-x with the standard blue? Or do I have to drain whats in there first?

De-Icer (orange)
and Bug Remover (green)

I guess in SoCal we don't really need the all-season or de-icer.

Orange Rain-ex (all-weather/bug removal).

 

In Colorado:
Green Rain-X in the summer, orange (-25°) in the winter.

Cracked the reservoir line on my Mini Cooper once when I hadn't drained the green stuff out before a cold snap (-15°).

 

I actually convinced my old roommate that he had just made a dire mistake when he did that. Told him the orange and blue when mixed would create a chemical reaction and all of the plastic and rubber lines would melt. Fortunately (for him), as he ran out to his car to start draining it all, another friend pulled into the parking lot, and called him a dumbass for believing me.

He is the reason I have no respect for NY.

Convinced him I had a turtle living loose in our barracks room twice...in the same day!

The list of shit I have talked him into believing, and the stupid shit he does on a weekly basis never ceases...
