Horns....Loud Horns

I'm not sure, but seems a bit spendy. I've got the Hella triple tone air horns and they aren't too bad. Louder than stock but not obnoxious.

Any chance you can post a pic of how it's mounted? I've been looking for something that's better than stock but not so much as where it will scare the shit out of people crossing the street (I drive in the city sometimes).

 

Yeah I can try to snap a pic in a little while. I have the horns mounted down kind of low near the bumper.

 

Sorry it's hard to get a good pic without pulling the grill. I just used the mounting brackets for the factory horns and made my own bracket that looks kind of like a peace sign. Then just mounted the horns to it and used an existing hole to mount it up. The compresser is mounted up higher near the radiator.

Well, I mounted similar horns behind the grill. Barely fit. Wired into the horn sw. Love it. Now added a Grover 1510 air horn but, though I adjusted it for tone, It just doesn't seem loud enough. More like a loose fart than a fire engine blast. Good compressor with a 120 psig and a good sized orifice in the solenoid. Anyone know if maybe it needs a diaphragm replaced?
