Proud new Tacoma owner!

I've been a member for awhile but just bought my first Tacoma. It's an '01 double cab 4x4 sr5. I wanted a TRD but found a good deal on this one blue book out the door. It's pretty clean, not perfect but what you would expect from an '01.

First on the to do list new tires, then probably a locker and level it out.

I'm looking forward to lots more research, there's a ton of info on here.

I am a new owner, 2 weeks ago bought a dual cab PreRunner. I love Toyota engines. Had a 2004 Vibe, Pontiac, I know, but had a Toyota engine - put 200,000 on it before I decided it was time to trade up so my 250 lb, 6 ft, teenager wasn't getting out of a "clown car". I expect my truck to do better!! I really want to "pimp" my ride, but I am a TX girl and a mom...want it to be my style. I love Challengers, in fact, really fought hard not to get a muscle car, couldn't picture my boys climbing out of a two door!! LOL Anyhoo, does anyone have suggestions? I know I need darker tinting, would like a cover for the bed because we do a lot of tent camping, need something to keep most of the water out....have about 1,000 I can spend on MY truck! Would also like to get the step rails, not sure if that is what they are called, but I am obviously, not as tall as my teen and look pretty silly hiking my leg up to my waist to get in! HELP! I get anxiety just thinking about the cost of just these two things...anyone know a good place to go in Houston/Woodlands/Conroe area that this type of work is done - I know the dealer is outta the question.
