    Nope
Who did you end up getting your truck from? And did you have a trade-in? I'm pissed now because my truck that I ordered in February has just been pushed to May delivery. Thinking about blowing it off and buying something off the lot this weekend.

I was at the dealer today and they could order me a 2012 double cab 4x4 TRD Sport, SB, with entune for 31,500 OTD. I thought that was a bit high and told them I would get back with them later. It's hard to find those options at a dealership in my area

Not at all like your tire reference. He negotiated a price and then negotiated the dealership paying some of the taxes. Buyers are not all aware that this is illegal so dealerships so "ok" and allow the selling price to be lower and reflect that on the paperwork. Your comments do not allow for difference in individual's articulation of what happened but do make you look rather pompous. I was simply pointing out that the buyer did not pay the entirety of the price he listed + tax. Taken from either side of the equation it comes out to the same and individuals like yourself trying to appear smarter than others by making rude comments is annoying.

Enough of that... I GOT MY TRUCK!
Got $22,500 for my trade and wrote a check for $12,885 OTD. Eliminating the cash back, 7/75,000 extended warranty, etc. the truck was $34,500 +TTL. I got the extended warranty for $495 and had a $1K Shareathon cash back credit.
    Specs again:
2012 TRD Off-Road DCSB, Entune, Roof Rack, Tube Steps, TRD Cat-back Exhaust, Leather heated seats.
Had them swap my BFG All Terrain TKOs with under 4K on them to the new ride.

These pics were with my phone but I'll post more tomorrow in the light with a better camera. Old and New side by side. The light really does make a difference with the Nautical blue.

Some of the low prices people are posting are hilarious! Some may be true, but I guarantee most are not. My father-in-law owns a Toyota dealership so I know what the true dealer cost is on all models...and the prices some people are claiming are totally fiction. The dealer may have quoted you a "low" price and then rolled up your "savings" into another area on the bill of sale.

Alot of people giving prices before the add-ons. Don't know why anyone would bullshit as this is the internet, other than to not feel like you got f'ed i guess. If you are happy with your deal who cares if other's got better deals than you.

Don't know which prices you all are talking about.

Good goal would be to aim for $30-$31k OTD for most TRD models. In the NE anyway is where I'm getting mine special ordered/delivered.

It's around the same here in the Midwest. I'm debating on going tonight before they close to try and swing a deal on one.

That's a good target. You will be very hard-pressed to get a TRD package for under $30K OTD in the NE near major metro areas. Tacoma is more of an 'Urban' truck whereas the Tundra would go more in Rural areas. Tacoma is extremely popular in the Tri-state area and new England. They are all over the place and demand is very high. Avg days on lot is pretty short so your biggest concern is finding one in the package you want, if you don't want to order it. Tacoma sells like hotcakes in my area. It is not uncommon to hear a dealer sell a loaded Tacoma the day after it is put on the lot--especially the doublecab TRD's.

posted my deal the other day, and about 10% off msrp with the $500 incentive is a good and doable price where I live in Miami, Fl.
Can do a lot better with other makes, but Toyota doesnt deal as much from my experience (Ive purchased about 50 cars in my lifetime) and has fewer rebates and incentives than most other manufacturers. I guess because they dont need to for the most part

If you add 4wd, Nav and LB vs SB ect. the prices varies. I think $30-$33K is good considering nav shows as a $2000 option. The point is, some options make a bigger differance but you do have a good point.

30 to 31000 seems doable in the states, otd. In Canada, more like $35000, due to dealer bullshit for Canadians that will pay more. If i knew more about how to do the cross border deal i probably would have bought in the states and saved 2 to 3000 on the truck i purchased. I have heard of really good deals for other vehicles, such as nissan muranos, we would pay 45000 to 50000, while you could buy in US for 35000 then fly down to pickup pay a bit more for inspection/tax bs and have saved $10000.

People forget too that incentives are just that--incentives to get consumers to make a purchase when stock isn't moving.

I doubt anyone is going to find a 10% rebate on a TRD Tacoma. Perhaps a base model or a trim that isn't moving well. But not a TRD trim.

my local dealers have few if any tacomas in stock, but generally have lots of tundras sitting on the lot. In fact the dealer I am buying from hasnt had a taco around for over a month! I drive by every day and would notice.

Most of the Tacomas on the lot in my area are the lower-end trims. Usually, when they do get a TRD or 4x4 they put it out on the show stand in front of the dealer. There are three Toyota dealers within 30 miles of me. I had to travel 100 miles to find a TRD Sport Access cab. I live in a large metro area, too. It's not like I live out in the sticks.

I was at a local dealer today to pick up a bed mat I had ordered. I noticed they had a Black T/X Pro on the lot and was checking it out. First one I had seen. You don't see too many of those on dealer lots, especially in Ohio.

I was at the dealership tonight and the truck I want is a TRD sport, 4x4, double cab, SB, 6 speed, Entune, and MGM color. They could not find one with the exact options I wanted so I will have to order it. It seems hard to find the 6 speed with entune. The salesman quoted me a OTD price of $30,500 after back and forth haggling. I told him I would get back to him in Monday.

At the dealership that I work at, someone is lucky if they get a 2012 TRD for 34k

The fully loaded SR5 in access cab will run you about 32OTD
I got mine employee price for 30,500 OTD Access cab SR5 Auto with most of the bells and whistles
