    so i was looking at my front fenders, and it doesent even look like i need to trim the pinch weld. it doesent come close driving around, and even if i was stuffing the tires it doesent LOOK like it would hit the plastic. i of course still need to test that, but it looks like there is a good amount of space.

    When I first saw the picks of your truck after you added the tires, I was thinking the same thing. It would not surprise me at all if you don't rub even in high articulation situations off road. You lucky SOB.

    It is definitely not fair that the '96s and '97s seem to fare better with bigger wheels. IMO they are more durable to.

    over the summer, the long quad trailer that was on my last truck when it got it, a shorter dirt bike trailer, enclosed single axle quad trailer, possibly a large pop up, and possibly wave runners.

    the heaviest thing would probably be the pop up, and i hope dry i could keep it under 2g. and yes i know slowing down helps lol. also you know most of idaho is mountains lol, so most places i go have a good number of bends. im just wondering if you are driving along and it starts swaying in a wind with a trailer on is it going to be alot worse than with the sway bar on. and im pretty sure i can tell the thing is off.

    I didnt have to do any trimming what so ever and i only rub a tiny bit on the frame at full lock and only offroad if I try really hard to make them rub.

    thats the one thing im afraid of too. the 4cyl will be very down on power.

    :notsure: I haz no hard evidence. Only what I observe on here and also my buddy has a '97.

    If there are differences, they are subtle. But it does seems that the newer the truck the more fragile it is.
