I only got some footage with my camera on the Side of Will's truck. I didnt want to have to jump out at every good footage spot then have to run back to the front to do it again like last time. I'll do that again when we have a smaller group. Ill see what I did get though and put it up soon, it'll probably just be some clips, I wont have enough to edit together.

Hey hope you guys liked the way me and my friend in the Nissan led through part of the trip. That quail canyon trail had been closed for 8yrs and just opened about 1 month ago. It's a cool little short cut to cut across to pronghorn. I'm also glad everyone made it down the Vic's Cat trail fine. Good times :)

The trail was ok. It does get a little frustrating when you have to stop and turn around with such a large group like we had to right before Vic's and then when you guys wanted to go do that random uphill. We shouldn't have had so many trucks stopped at the bottom of that hill there with more trucks coming over it, would have gone really bad if someone lost their brakes as Bill pointed out to me.

All in all it was a fun day. Next time we'll have a quick huddle explaining who is the leader, where the leader is taking us, what to expect so we can hit it and move on quickly.

great times..but sucks when the group gets impatient and leaves a few trucks behind. this was the 2nd time i have been left behind on a TW run...

been on runs with other groups and 4x4 clubs more times then i can ever count. sometimes on those runs someone will break down, roll over, flop over onto their side etc etc etc.. and we'll be on the trail forever, overnight even..but we'll never leave anyone behind! cant say that for SoCal TW

I didn't even think about that since I was riding with Bill up front the entire time but you are 100% right. It would have helped if everyone had a CB, that should be something you have most defintly if you know you are going to go trailing.

You did have a CB though right monkey? You should've just gave out a quick call to slow down a bit if you felt you were being left behind.

However realistically you shouldn't have to do that, we all should have kept closer as a group.

    Lessons learned! :D

it was more then just giving a call to slow the group down...you guys just left!!!

impatience grew as we were waiting for the Frontier to catch back up with us..

who by the way went a head of the group to pre-run a trail for us, just to make sure that it was open and passable for everyone.
