Source for bed rail sections?

I'm contemplating a tool box, and if I mount it in the bed I'd like to put another bed rail ON the tool box. I don't want to pull the one off the bed side, because if I go with a shorter box I'd have to chop the rail.

I'm thinking of a 48" side box. So I'd like to find a 48" piece of the bed rail to mount to the box so I have someplace to still anchor to up top. Is this a dealer-only thing, or is it sold elsewhere?

 

Take the one off the front of the bed ?

Thanks, and yeah 5 holes with threads. you can fill them in if you want

 

Why fill them?
They just "dump" to the other side of the shell. You already have three in the front of the bed that are open to the ground. Not going to get any more dirt or water splashing in than you are through those.....





.... or a 5ftx5ft "hole" in the top

 

if it werent for tiny holes that water may or may not seep into my life would be so boring
