I may get some shit for this, but because I wanted to be able to remove my windshield since it will break, THEY ALWAYS DO. And if I welded the "A" pillar to the bars I would never be able to replace the windshield. So I figured out the next best solution.

They are 2" tube .25" wall bushing's that will be bolted on.

It is close to the windshield, but that's only because it's not fully welded yet there will be more room.

I also painted some shit so it looks funny since it's not done.

And as you notice there are gussets that I added to the top, and the windshield area.

Ahh, the things I would do with a pipe bender... as said before, very gnarly truck you have there. Only thing I can think of is since your goin all out on it, you might as well fab some trail doors or buy some. It'd be a nice touch.

Get rid of those tabs and bushings for mounting your /\ and get some OD tube clamps...cope the tubes and weld to the clamps...then bolt in. Much lower profile and will not obstruct your view so much...

    http://www.ballisticfabrication.com/OD-Tube-Clamp_p_1474.html

But you def need some support there bc that upper windshield bar was bent for the eyebrow look (looks good) but unfortunately it weakens it ALOT.
