I've yet to throw my hat in the ring and post anything, but Panda Jerk sent me a PM so I figured...wth...

These are from today's bridal session. Bride wanted to surprise the groom with pics on his Camaro (obviously, she knew he wouldn't mind). Here's a couple. The rest will hit my website after I shoot the wedding next weekend!

All good...she's 95lbs soaking wet with bricks in her pockets. Lifted on and off with no sliding. Car didn't even notice she was there. ;-)

Need an opinion. This is a shot back from '09. I cut/cropped out the feeder today. It was shot against a house in the late evening... thus the grey background. Ignore the logo things...

35% up front, 20% in the back window tint, 15" Mickey Thompson bullet hole wheels, with 31x10.5 Firestone Destination A/T tires. Glass Pack, High Flow Cat, S&B CAI, Custom Light Bar with 4 fog lights. 2 10" Rockford Fosgate P2 subs with 1000 watt Rockford Fosgate Amp, CB.
Whats the opinion you need Stan? I will throw in my .02 though, I think seeing the feeder is good, cause you see what it is interacting with. But in the second one you can see really nice detail in the bird itself but it just kinda looks like a really nice shot of the bird, just kinda meh and boring. Just my opinion. It's a great shot nonetheless.

And in the second one I see you cloned out the feeder after I posted this.

Yo Garret you seem pretty damn committed to your fly fishing huh? You in Montana at the moment?

edit....I take that back, I know you are in Montana cause I know it wouldn't be snowing in SC like that :p

Yeah man, it's been my serious hobby for as long as I can remember. I try to get on the river at least 3-4 times a week....Some weeks it's hard being in college...Got lots of studying to do during the week.

It's the main reason I want to get into some more photography. I feel like they go together. Just gotta get better. :)

 I hear you man. There are some good creeks up around my area that I need to hit more, I bought a fly rod 2 years ago and have used it maybe 5 times  And you are right, they do go together

You live in Asheville? I fish the Davidson and East Fork every time I get up to the mountains over there. I'd try to head up to Tennessee to fish the Watauga.. Great fishing up there.

It's definitely a bigger game out here. The rivers are twice as big, the fish respond better to flies, and rivers are generally less crowded out here...But on a warm Saturday, it seems like everyone's out on the water.

Well...I live in Canton, just 15 minutes from Asheville. (Canton...better known as the paper mill town if that helps)

A lot of the creeks here are small, and you catch quite a few speckle if you go up high. From what I understand one of the biggest ones I have seen caught is about 7in. I just don't make enough time to go, and it would help if I had a fishing partner, a couple of buddies go from time to time, when they are home from school.

You should give me a shout when you are close to the area and we'll meet up and I'll tag along, maybe you can show me a thing or two about some fishing!

Glad to help. It is boring, but so crisp. What percent crop is that?
