    I've heard of one time that a CAI actually increases HP....

    The intake was in a place where the airflow was restricted and very close to engine, the CAI changed that

    I don't remember what type of car though. And it's been a while
    Since I talked with the guy (I did drive it and could tell a small difference other than noise)
