Just picked this up yesterday for $500; great shape, carpeted inside, brake light, inside light, just one little crack by hinge on the back.

This truck is a work truck - not a lot of fancy mod's here, but it's getting the job done!
Added a couple more LED's into the door handles of my truck to shine on the floor beneath my feet...

    IMG_20120401_182837_7ac60ced6533c30327c8243de5237f943179c0c4.jpg

And the token night shot - it's a little brighter than the camera shows, but not much - which is nice because it'd be too much if it was any brighter... The one's under the water bottles I did last weekend.

I will. Thinking of doing a write-up. And you are correct. I need something with more grit. May use the 1k/2k as the finish in some spots. Think I'll pick up something with more teeth tomorrow.

Depending on how bad your paint is, I'd go lower than 320 - when I painted my truck, I tried 320, but ended up dropping down to 100 grit with a palm sander and then an random orbital sander (air powered) before spraying primer on...

And, as everyone will tell you, it's all in the PREP!!! You can check out my write up on it by checking out my build thread... click on link in sig below...

My final grit that I sanded with was 1200... I wasn't going for super glossy though...

Only creeped around the block yesterday after finishing the install. I drove it more, farther, faster today. Went and hit some speed bumps hard. No wheels fell of off so that is good. [IMG]

These UCAs will fix the lack of caster, tho I haven't aligned it yet. I will some time latter this week. My truck is not my DD so I plan to do some more things to it before aligning it.

I haven't driven it too much yet so too soon to say much. I did notice that the front is now lower than it was. Seriously, it has more rake in it after the install. I lost at least a 1/2" in height in the front. I am speculating that some of that is the camber being off so an alignment will raise it a bit. Might take this opportunity to crank in some more lift into it too.

    Yup.

Woot! Thank you! Goinig to check out your writeup and pick up some more sandpaper. Looks like the weather is supposed to be good all week here in Atlanta, so hope to get it started and wrapped up this week.

Installed new front rotors/pads from wheelers, and replaced steering rack bushings (what a bitch). Next up is HID lights, and new suspensions (probably 3" lift)
