    It came out really good it was my wife and I and my brother and his girlfriend. She never had a dinner with us before so I told her not to expect anything like hamburgers and hot dogs....... she was pleased to say the least. I set the bar high on this dinner even though it was super simple it way really really good.

    Here is the dinner from the cooking class, which was fun... the Chef was very knowledgeable and he incorporated my 4 yoa daughter who loves being in the kitchen and he made strawberry,kiwi crepes with her. She got her own apron and everything, which she loves....

    As you see in the plate it was Gemelli pasta which we just threw in as a side then Veal Marsala that is pictured with the mushrooms, and Chicken Madeira with the prosciutto. everything was really delicious and we had a lot of fun. I will definitely do it again!!!! It was better then I expected!!!

    Yes I was very surprised in the quality of the Shoprite ( cheap supermarket in our area) Filets. I would have been much happier with filets from our butcher shop instead. But these were surprisingly good.

    It was an in home Culinary Class, local chef came to the house after we decided on a menu. Very informative, he was kind of impressed of our kitchen and he didnt have to dumb it down for my wife and I who both have a culinary background.

    I am actually thinking of doing the same thing. I would also open it up to be able to actually cook for the clients if that is what they wanted, and open it up to businesses or corporations. We will see.... Would anyone on TW hire me to cook for them thinking that I was local?????

    And to give a reference I was thinking (totally just throwing numbers out there) around $75.00 an hour and around $20 a person for groceries (depending on the menu). So for a party of 12 and 2 hours (again depending on the menu) would be around $390. And that would be for a 3 course meal, app,entree and either dessert or a secondary entree, no sides included. Any sides would be extra, or on the host to provide.
