LOL...my parents also had a 1983 Chevrolet Citation. They bought it brand new. Near the end of its life it seemed to be in the shop every other month. For some reason it went through a lot of starters. Finally it blew a head gasket and they got rid of it. They did get 120K miles out of it, which was considered great for that car.

My first car was a 1981 Mazda B2000 pickup that I bought from a junkyard for $650 (including tax). Since I bought it from a wrecking yard I had to get a brake and light inspection, but other than that it ran fine for a couple of years. I eventually put in a used Japanese engine and drove it for another year. I eventually sold it and I saw it driving on the road about 10 years ago.

1974 datsun PL620, now with like 476,000 miles on it. I had it since i was 12-13 to rebuild and its been in my family passed around since 74. I still have all but 2 of my cars I ever owned, two cars and my tacoma are not in these pics. My fit behind the datsun was rear ended by an F350 and totalled at a stoplight, and took the check for down payment on mmy 2012
