    Alot of folks that use their vehicles to tow large toy haulers, or 5th Wheels have stacks in the bed to prevent soot build up on the sides of the trailer.

    Yeah, I think it looks silly myself, but our familly has a few trucks set up this way as cleaning soot off of a fiberglass traler sucks balls. My Uncle also told me that if you are hauling livestock (horses, cows, etc) having the exhuast up in the bed, and over the cab prevents alot of it from going into the trailer and the animals breathing it.

    I didn't look that close I guess. But wouldn't someone pulling a large trailer or fifth wheel over distances have a truck that's more stock. Ie tires and lift and such. That's just my opinion. And aren't those big trailers either a 3" gooseneck in the bed, or the big rig style hitch in the bed?

    Yes, and Yes. However.....We put 33's on a couple trucks, for better off roading. Also, the Toy aulers (many) are pulled with a standard 2" or 2.25" ball.

    LOL!! We did that on our old 5th wheel. You can have that done at the dealer now at no charge. The issues I have with the truck pictured are, His tires are way too wide. If they touch, they can blow. And the stacks are a little "bling-y".....so Im not so sure he would be towing with that rig. I think he would fall into the catagory of the other trucks that put stacks on for no reason.
