About to purchase install white/amber LED DTRL from this fella and also do his LED white parking lights with resistors/relays...

Just want to know what I am getting into and how much beer I need to buy.

What are we talking about here a few hours?? "Plug and play" or "Get the Sawzall"???

Any tips/feedback from product users would be fantastic

    THANKS

I did the amber only bulbs on my 2012's dtrl. Very easy install. My only complaint is that the 3157 LED bulbs I got from csjumper are a completely different/darker shade of orange then the parking lights and mirror turn signals and I am way too much of a perfectionist for my lights not to match. So now I am looking to buy some new 3157 LED builds that are a closer match in amber color to the factory incandescent bulbs.

Yeah, I wish it was that easy but on the 2012's there's no way to change the side view mirror blinker bob to match the csjumper dtrl's. So my only option is to find a dtrl LED build that is closer to stock color. I will admit though, Chris's customer service is amazing, shipping is fast and all my other LED's are well worth the money. I'm just particular about things matching.

easy peasy lemon squeezy.....as my kids would say

Chris is awesome....the hardest part for me was splicing the wiring under the dash....only because I didn't follow instructions and take the lower dash apart.
Some advise....buy it and follow instructions....it'll be easy!

Yeah I tried to make the instructions fairly easy to follow with step by steps. I can also answer questions you may have over the phone.

    Just a few LEDs...
Like you. I'm really particular about my lights matching.

This is the ONLY reason that the only incandescent bulbs I have left on my truck are the DTRL/Front Parking Lights, Front Side Markers, and Rear Turn Signals.

I have tried several different amber bulbs from different places/manufacturers, only to be disappointed. The problem I have seen on many of the amber LEDs is they change color slightly towards orange when they heat up. The wavelength of the "amber" color led strips I have is 605nm. anything higher than...say 610 nm has more red in it (orange)

It may be possible to limit the current to some of these amber led bulbs to prevent them from heating up as much. The only problem with that is, the amount of light output is directly affected by the current flow.:(
