    We went through quite a streak of no air incidents, so, I guess it's just stats coming back to bite us in the ass. Still, though, when you consider all the flights per day, and miles per day flown, it's a remarkably safe mode of transit. And that's also not taking into account helo flights, cargo planes, or military flights.
