I didn't do anything. ;) but you get that electronic grease (not sure what you call it). You got to lube the connectors on the battery, and line that runs between the motor and ESC.

You can use up to 3s Lipos on it but you have to turn the volt cutoff on. Pretty simple. Takes 2 mins. Manual does a great job of explaining it.

Give me a moment. I will take pictures of the connections you need to grease up

If you want to go extreme as well you can pull all the bearings out of the car and pack them with regular grease. I didn't do it because that wouldn't be the point to see how far it will go in stock form before it breaks.

    Lol.

The bearing set is like 80 dollars too at least what I hear

Word. Anytime. Let me know if you need any help.

Check hobby shop websites as well. I believe they came out with a new version with updated receiver and transmitter so I believe they are selling my model for cheaper to get rid of them.

I will check into for you as well.

Going with 4x4 is definitely a good choice for bashing. If I were you, though I would look into some monster trucks. Savage Flux, Emaxx, or Stampede, perhaps? The "novelty" of SC trucks is really cool. I find myself leaning more and more towards monster trucks and things of that nature. They go more places, are easier to control in the air, and the big tires protect them a bit better.
