Battery (Charging System) Light

    The charging system light was on this morning on my 2005 Tacoma. I drive about 5 miles before the highway. Once on the highway, the light went off, then a minute later on, then quickly off again.

    I took the truck out for lunch and the end of the day without the light come on.

    Any thoughts?

    LEER Shell with dome lights operated with 3 way switches, aux backup lights with relay and 3 position switch, modified wiring to compass/temp display and clock to include switch that disables dimming function (poor man's DRL solution), Scan Gauge 2
    Change in temperature always kills batteries that were on their last legs. One of our work trucks crapped out on Monday. It's been warming up here this week.
