I'm assuming you're referring to top plate spacers. Depending on the height of the spacer, it's not usually the ride I'd be concerned with. All you're doing is moving the stock set-up down with a piece of billet aluminum or steel. The issue is the front shock being able to bottom out before the bump stop hits, it's even more of an issue if you off road. The shock isn't meant to take that kind of shock and, when it does, can lead to a broken shock.

It can be bad for the struts, for the daily driver, you could run them for the life of the vehicle and never have an issue. If you actually do off road, I wouldn't recommend them just from a function standpoint.

And yes, I've heard they don't ride all that great but no personal experience.

Putting the wheeler's aal 3pk and Icon rear resi's in tomorrow. Just Pb'ed everything. Wondering about the bumpstop. How does it come off ? How is it mounted ? I did my homework but looking at it, I forgot the bumpstops. I dont see fasteners. Feel like a dumbass. Seems like the first thing to remove. Also, anybody know a welder or shop thats pretty local that will do a cab mount chop ? I think i can handle the trimming but need someone to weld on the new material etc. What do you think it will cost? Any input would be great. I'm gonna do this right. I'm thinkin 285's.

Rear bump stops are help on by the U-bolts. Wish I could help you on the other things, but I don't know many welders...

Ok, i think i see what you mean. It looks like there's some rubber flaps in the pic under the u-bolts. So simple. I got this. Thanks dude. ;)
