2011 TRD Sport replacement key

    Anyone have any success on getting a duplicate key with immobilizer from Ace hardware ($79.00) or Walmart ($49.00)or any other source. They all state that 2010 models are no problem but the 2011 can't be done, their software doesn't support this year. Anyone? Trying to avoid the dealer as their prices are ridiculous. I know the years are essentially the same but they both tried with no luck.

    Wow...that might be the quickest reply ever. Funny thing is if I was still in New York (retired NYPD) this would not be a problem but I am now in Florida and all my connections dried up. Thanks for your reply.

    Looking for success stories and any insight on where to get done other than dealer. I believe this is specific to 2011 model year. Thanks again. Always enjoy the camaraderie of this site.
