Hey everyone i have been a member for a while but this is my first post. I have a stock 2008 double cab prerunner rugged trail off road and am looking to level/lift to look good without having to get new tires without spending more than 500 bucks.
    Thanks

    +2^^^.

Depends on your needs when done, as in do you haul any weight in the bed, on where you would set the 5100's in the front to level it out.

Downsouth motor sports has good rep. on the 5100's on price.

That's not true. It applies to all pre-runners and 4x4. Print out the TSB and show it to them.

5100's in the front with a Toytec AAL in the back. Set the front to 1.75" and you have a lift for under $275 (+alignment).

Plus, there is no need to fight with the dealer for the TSB because the AAL will compensate for the non-tsb spring pack.

I'd try a different dealer if there's another near you.

However, you're missing out on the rear Bilsteins you get with the TSB if you have a non-TRD.

Get the TSB. Your truck qualifies and should not be a problem. Look at the Jan 12, 2009 Rev1 (4x4 and PreRunner)

Call Toyota 1st and get a case number. Go back to your dealer or go to another dealer, tell them you want them to clarify the TSB with Toyota and tell them you qualify based on VIN because the TSB clearly states it applies to PreRunner as well.

Talk to Downsouth or the Toytec site folks- They can get you set up with everything. Might not be labeled as a "package" deal- but they will get you all set up!!
