How Long Can I Go Without Alignment

Was planning on putting my lift on on Thursday, April 5, but as everything seems to be closed for Easter, I am unable to do a wheel alignment. If i put it on then wait till monday, ill have driven 250km on highways. Question is, how bad will the mis-alignment be and how much damage/wear would it do.

It won't be the end of the world. You will probably have pulling issues as well as severe wandering on the highway. Your tires won't suffer too bad though.

 

the damage will be to your tires, so if you plan to get new ones I wouldnt worry too much about it. The truck will probably handle like shit too

IMO, I would not risk it.

 

Will probably wear your tires a bit excessively. Shouldn't pull though, since both sides are lifted and changed out of alignment equally. Maybe wander but tire wear would be the biggest issue.

 

my steering wheel was slightly off center after my 2" lift.

 

Just do an eye ball alignment yourself after the install then when you can, take it to a shop and get it done.
