Here is a link you can view for details and compatability (http://www.oreillyauto.com/site/c/detail/BA00/0516140/03338.oap?year=2008&make=Toyota&model=Tacoma&vi=1441489&ck=Search_wheel+bearings+%26+seals_1441489_2978&keyword=wheel+bearings+%26+seals)

Looking to get $200 + shipping. Local pickup is fine too. I'm in Murrieta/Temecula California.

    Reduced: $175 + shipping

With the wheel off the ground:

    - Grab wheel with both hands and try to shake it up/down and left/right.

There should be no play, you will know if you have play. If your bearings are really shot, you'll know too. Your truck will vibrate while driving and make a crazy buzzing/humming noise. It'll feel like a really bad tire wear or balancing problem.

Thing is, my truck makes enough noises everywhere that I cant really isolate them. The wheels spin good, no play, but isnt quiet when I spin them for sure.

Touching the spindle for heat is a good idea, i'll try that after i get home from work

Well the vibration/noise that comes from a bad wheel bearing is pretty noticeable. You know those grooves they have on the sides of long, straight, boring highways? and that crazy buzzing/humming that wakes you up if you veer onto them? That's how bad wheel bearings sound/feel. I know, I just did mine

holy chit, then my wheel bearings should be good haha.

My truck is actually really quiet when on a very smooth road. It just makes god aweful noises as soon as i hit little cracks on the road. Mostly rattly noises from the interior. I sounds like rain haha

Can't be worse than Vi's truck. Sounds like you could use an afternoon with a giant bag of zip-ties and some foam weatherstripping?

What psi do you run on the highway?

Dayumm. That's crazy high. Might be why you hear harsh noises when you hit broken pavement. I run 30-33psi and the tread wears pretty evenly.

haha no worries. I had all these TW notifications and was like holy hell what are they talking about. It's probably a good thing though. People can pick up a little more knowledge on wheel bearings.

I bought these thinking my wheel bearings were going out but after some shock tower gussets and a good alignment it seems my wheel bearings are fine.

That's what I run up front with my bumper. Could be what killed my bearings..
