I traded in my 2008 RWD 4 banger about a year and a half ago for a Jeep Liberty 4x4. I have loved it in the Upstate NY winters, but I miss my old taco (mostly the mileage) :pout:

What's even sadder is the Liberty has probably the slowest pickup of any car/truck I've ever driven in my life (the taco probably would have smoked it, LOL).

    The old guy:

I guess this post doesn't really have any purpose, but I'm sure I'll be driving a Tacoma again some day.

Your Taco misses you too... It wonders why you did what you did, but it also forgives.

It would be nice to get another one but they hold their price too well! I'd take a bath on my trade-in for it. Also, do people see good MPG with 4x4 i4s? I might be able to swing a 1st gen but I'm not sure I could do a 2nd gen.

Edit: Just to be clear, I got about 27 mpg highway on my best run with my Tacoma... Is that even possible with the gearing in the 4x4's? Would I see that much of a fuel economy increase over my Liberty (getting 14-15 mpg mixed).
