Im looking for an offroad bumper i know there is alot of threads out there but they dont answer all my questions,,,, Ok so I have a 95.5 tacoma extended cab thats grey. 3 inch lift front and rear. I like the look of the plate bumpers but not the price. And I dont know how the tube ones hold up. Does anyone have a 95 or 96 with a good looking bumper? Or have pics of what you have on your rig? Also how easy is instilation? Im working on a budget of around 800 bucks

An Elite plate bumper on a lifted 95-97 Tacoma is as badass as it gets IMO

I'd go with a tube bumper because they're cheaper than plate and that's what I have :D Trail gear more specifically

Tube bumper will hold up just fine. Trail Gear gets my vote for tube bumpers

    Look at build!
Im kind of partial to tube bumpers but i love the plate bumpers as well, just not the price and weight all though its not to much more than tube once all the goodies are added. Tube is sufficiant enough imo as box rocket said and you can always get a tube bumper and plate parts of it off and have a sweet hybrid bumper no one else has...thats what i plan on doing to mine... The addicted offroad bumper has my vote for just a little more than the TG and you can use it as a new skid plate crossmember as i have.

I recommend addicted offroad for sure. The bumper I bought from him is stylish, well built and it shipped out pretty quickly.

Correct me if I'm wrong but isn't that in your price range?

    $800 + shipping = $900 or more

edit: nvm didn't see Elite was on hold

I really wanted an Elite but with just a couple options and shipping it was out of my price range. I went on Amazon and found a brand new ARB for $797 shipped(from WA to MD:eek:) Couldn't beat that ANYWHERE for a plate bumper. Got it from Autoanything.com

Edit: To be clear it was $797 with free shipping
