Thanks Eric! Got both my CB mounts painted an mounted tonight and I mounted up some cheap auto zone lights to see how it looks. It's awesome!! There's plenty of room behind these lights for when I open the hood all the way, no issues with hitting the window or wipers when they angle back with the hood (Just something to keep in mind if you do this, make sure you don't use lights with a lot of housing behind the mounting point).

I'll wire em up after drill tomorrow and hopefully have better pics soon.

Looks good, I would never have thought to use the CB mounts for lights. Great Idea!

Thanks, I kinda got the idea from all the jeeps I see driving around with lights in that location. Since I have my antenna mounted up on my roof rack I figured this would be perfect!

Looks good. With some Rigid Dually LEDs it would looks totally sick IMO! I like the decal location you chose as well.
Ya, back a month ago on pg4 of this thread there was a guy asking about doing just this, so its nice to see it done so we finally have some pics! I think this might catch on now that its been done once so others can see how it looks... looks better than I imagined. :)

^^ I'm not sure about glare yet, I didn't get a chance to wire em up yet unfortunately since I got home late and it was like 20 degrees by the time I got em mounted!! I'll be sure to let you know though.

I was planning on getting another set of Rigids, I've got four of em accross my rack so I wanted to stay on that route... but damn they're expensive! I'm thinking I might just save up for a little bit and get a set of D2 floods.

haha and I love the look of that decal!! Your logo is friggin sweet. Plus I figured, Rep your company up front by the product :)

Well, I finally got the lights wired up on those cb mounts, after some adjusting I got em angled just a wee bit to the side where all the deer play on the side of the road, it's friggin sweet with lights there! Makes my truck look mean as hell, I'll try to upload a pic tomorrow, but I'm on a gov comp for the next lil while so no promises. And... No hood glare :)

Yeah I'm planning on getting some D2s to mount up, but probably won't be for a little bit. and no issues with opening the hood, you just have to make sure whatever you put on has enough clearance from the the back of it to the windshield. D2s have less material behind the mount than what I have now, so they should be no issue!

Here's some pics from my last outing into the mountains
