    We have the largest military the world has ever seen, since WWII, no one has killed more people than us and we are very good at it. (in wartime, not counting Mao and the "cultural revolution"). Resource acquisition and steady supply IS our national security. Lots of little people somewhere need to die soon, we need our cheap gas back.
