Well , statistically Luongo has played well this year , and last year played well in the playoffs with the exception of the two blow out games in Boston , however he also got 2 shutouts in the Final series.

 

Maybe when your players hit puberty they will make the playoffs

 

Haha well below top 15 in both GAA and Save % isn't really statistically good.

 

Yeah I'll be waiting for the year when all the good canucks players are 37 and all the avs good players are 25, we'll see who makes the playoffs then, just sayin.

 

That was due to the crap start to the season we had , he and Schneider have been great in the second half of the season .

Having said that , I agree it doesn't mean as much as it does in the playoffs .

Yeah I think really the only reason the Canucks are good is because their defense could fill up pretty much every spot on the Western Conference All Star team

This is an oversimplification. Defense is a team effort, so is offense. Vancouver plays both as a team. The team is coached well, and the players play the system they are taught. Yeah Van has some good defensmen, but more importantly they play defense as a team, and provide each other with excellent puck support
