You are suggesting that the Vancouver club , and Marc Crawford premeditated Bertuzzi's actions against Moore .

There is no proof of that , and I would suggest that is most certainly the reason Bertuzzi dropped the civil cases against the Canucks and Marc Crawford

I'm gonna spin it and say the Canucks are a really classy team that play by the rules, respect the opponents, and deserve the admiration of not only all NHL fans, but all NHL teams and management alike.

 

That doesn't have much to do with the Moore hit but you do make sense

 

Ok, how about the fact that Steve Moores legal team is taking Bertuzzi and the Canucks to court in 6 months for millions of $ because the Toronto court found enough evidence to do so?

Yeah 2 posts ago, you suggested that Moores case is hopeless. You said "there is no proof of that..." that's the whole basis of Moores case going forward, is that there is proof that it was premeditated

 

We'll see how it goes in 6 months, hopefully Bertuzzi has to fork over every last penny of his to Steve Moore, and becomes homeless on the shitty Detroit streets.

 

I said that Bertuzzi dropped his cases against the Canucks and Crawford , suggesting that there isn't enough evidence to win , why else would he drop the cases ?

Moore is in a different situation , as the victim , it is all or nothing for him , he has nothing further to lose in trying to seek compensation from Bertuzzi , and the Canucks .

Whether or not he can prove premeditation will be seen .

Sure what Bertuzzi did was brutal, but it happens continually in this league now.Unfortunately Moore suffered a career ending injury. Deliberate elbows to the heaed delivered by a forward skating player are no less aggressive and potentially damaging(see Duncan Keith)This is just more of what the NHL is attempting to stop.

Many around this league would say the a guy like Moore should have answered the bell after hitting an opponents top dog like he did. In this way he could have settled the matter and moved on. While I am not sure I agree with this in sport. This is apparently how the NHL conducts itself.

Yeah I agree but none of these hits cause the guy to snap his neck and never play hockey again. Markus Naslund needed to just live with the fact that in NHL hockey, you will get hit into the boards and it may hurt!
