True, but I believe he is strapped at 17" of travel so that is more than most on here need. A 14" bypass would not fit in the wheel well without cutting through the bed.

Thanks for the ideas. I would be stoked to keep it in the wheel wells. During hunting season I run a dog kennel that takes up the front of the bed. Just a little something I threw together

 

Should I do the rechargeable or the AA battery?? Is there a car charger?

I'm heading there tomorrow at lunch, going with the rechargeable one, not sure if t comes with car charger but will try to get one if not. Can prolly charge em at night on the bed outlet though

 

If it has a charger you guys can buy an AC/DC inverter. I carry an inverter in my truck if someone needs to use one. If you buy the AA battery version make sure you bring extra batteries. Greg ran out of power last year.

 

Just called Ham outlet. They have 11 of the battery operated ones in stock. Zero of the rechargeable ones. They are bringing down a few from their Anaheim store for tomorrow.
